After being in Vegas for a few days something occurred to me. I am a major bathroom snob!! I hate to admit it, but when I walk into a public bathroom something comes over me. I guess all of the technology has tainted me! :)
While we were staying at NY/NY, I walked into one of their casino bathrooms and they had regular toilets. I actually thought to myself "Eww- What is this? We have to FLUSH these things?" Upon hearing my inner voice say this I had to laugh. What have I become? Paris Hilton or something?
If you think about it, most of the time we are spoiled with bathroom technology. The toilets flush for you, the soap dispenses on its own, the water turns on with the wave of a hand, and if you make some sort of karate move you might just be able to get that paper towel dispenser to work properly and spit out some paper. (I don't know about you, but between getting the water to come on and the towels to come out, I have to make some crazy hand movements! Maybe you can get a black belt in faucet and paper dispensing.)
I knew I was a fan of all of the technology, but I really had no idea that I could officially call myself a bathroom snob until now! Snobs.

Fisher-girls
The kids stayed with Bucia and Papa while Mr. Magoo and I went to Vegas. They had a great time and caught more than a few fish! Chicky Magoo 1 caught a total of 65 fish in just 5 days! Chicky Magoo 2 caught 5 fish on the 1st day, and I think 25 total. (Papa will have to confirm that for me) Here are a few pictures of their first day at the lake.

Recitals
It has been a while, but I finally have time to post pictures of the kids recitals. (yes, I did say
"recitalSSSS") They were each in one and so we
got to go to two
separate recitals. Usually they keep sisters in the same recital, but because we came in about 1/2 way through the year, they had already decided on the recital times. It just so happened that the 2 classes we could pick had 2 separate recitals. It worked out okay though. That way, Chicky Magoo 2 and Chicky Magoo 1 each had their own special day, and we could focus on just one at a time.

Family Birthday
Last weekend, we had the family over for Chicky Magoo 2's birthday. She was very excited to get her
birthday celebration under way! She had a Max and Ruby party. Since there are no Max and Ruby plates, cake pans, cups, etc., I had to improvise and make a bunny cake that sort of looked like them. At least SHE thought it looked like them, which was all that mattered.

The girls came home that morning from Mr. Magoo's parents house. We had been in Vegas, and the kids were with them. We were excited to see them and as we were giving hugs, Chicky Magoo 2 noticed the balloons on her chair. She was SO excited and said "Is I be 3 now?" We explained that her actual birthday was Tuesday, but we were celebrating it today. She didn't seem to get it, but also didn't seem to care!
Chicky Magoo 2 has been asking for a new car seat "like Chicky Magoo 1's" for about 6 months now. Mr. Magoo and I did some major research into safety standards and finally decided on a car seat for her. I still can't believe that we don't have any of those bulky baby car seats anymore! It has been a LOT easier since she got this one! I remember not being able to wait until the girls could sit forward facing and now I'm amazed that the seat we brought them both home in is out of our car. WOW!
Once Chicky Magoo 2 realized that it was a car seat she couldn't wait to put it in the car. You can see her below giving the "thumbs up!" I guess we did a good job! :)

Chicky Magoo 1 was happy to help Chicky Magoo 2 in any way she could during the party. Chicky Magoo 2 can't read, so she decided she would read the cards for her.
Chicky Magoo 2 got some great gifts and she had been playing with them non-stop ever since. Here is her Tinkerbell costume she got. I think it was a little bright out for her to actually smile! Ha Ha! (she does have her Daddy's light sensitive eyes!)

She got Lincoln Logs too, which I will have to post up pictures of their creations later. I can't tell who has more fun with them; Mr. Magoo, Chicky Magoo 1, Chicky Magoo 2 or all of them together. They do love building!
This bottom picture is of the girls in their car seats in the car. Chicky Magoo 2 couldn't WAIT to go somewhere in the car. Her favorite part of the car seat is the it has hidden cup holders! Mr. Magoo and I are now obsessed with "keeping the car seat clean!" I know it won't last for that long, since our track record shows that it will have something sticky or gooey on it within the first week, but hey we can dream!

Bouncertown!
Chicky Magoo 2 had her party at Bouncertown today with her friends! She LOVES the place, and wouldn't have had her birthday anywhere else. Here are a few pictures.
Blowing out her 3 candles...

Chicky Magoo 1 and 2 peeking out of a bouncer...

Chicky Magoo 2 getting her big girl panties.... (let's hope that is a gift she intends to USE!)

Happy Birthday Chicky Magoo 2!
Well- my "baby" is officially 3 today! We are off to the big birthday celebration. She is very excited about turning 3, and has told us more than once today that "today is my real birthday! I'm really 3 years old!"
Happy Birthday Chicky Magoo 2!

Patience is a Virtue!
With all of the end of year events we have scheduled I haven't had a chance to update my blog in a while. I have heard all of you who have called, or told me to get on the ball! Today is Chicky Magoo 1's last day of Kindergarten, so I'm sure once summer is here I'll have more time. For now, we are heading out to pick her up from school, and then off to an end of year swimming party!
