Goodwill Owes Us!

Ok- so not really. Nothing more than a tax refund I guess! :) Mr. Magoo and I are doing our fall ritual of frantically clearing out the garage so that we can try and fit the cars in, and take the junk out before the cold hits! Why we collect so much stuff I have no idea? We have gone over this fact many times, and have come to the same conclusion each time, who knows???? My Dad was great, and cleaned out the garage enough that we can now fit one car in with no problems. The 2nd car will be more of a challenge, but I think we might make it this year! Maybe we should have my parents back again, so we can get both cars in...ha ha!

Fantasy Football
Just an update for all of you wondering about my fantasy league. My team, Mom's Army, got a pretty good start last week, and outscored everyone in the league! Boo-ya! I got 85+ points and the next highest score is 65+! I'm hoping my team can keep the points coming this week! I don't think I've ever started the year off being in first! It has been fun gloating, even if it is only for one week!

Party Time

This week I pulled off a surprise party for my sister who will be 30 on the 20th! It took some effort, but we did it! The party was designed to feel like a "summer social," which is a Church festival that Auntie Magoo 1 loves to go to! We had some spiked Sno Cones, Cotton Candy, Goldfish game, Funnel Cakes, and just about every sweet thing you can imagine (including my Grandmother's famous fudge, and divinity!- YUM!!!) Auntie Magoo 1 was TOTALLY surprised, as evident by this picture of her seeing Uncle Magoo 2, who flew in from California.
She also had a ton of great friends come from all over to see her. I think she had a good time!

This is what one lucky contestant looked like the next morning! We went to bed at 3am, and Uncle Magoo 2 had to get up at 6am to catch a flight. I think Uncle Magoo 2 had a good time at the party. What do you think? ha ha! I'm just glad I was the one with the camera, and not the other way around!

I think everyone had a great time! Planning the actual party wasn't NEARLY as hard as actually keeping the secret, with a 5 year old and a 2 year old, and especially ME in the house! I can't believe no one said a word! YEA!

Check out some pictures of the party!

You Know the Party Was Great When....

You karaoke to "What's Love Got To Do With It," and think this is a "Good" idea!

You also know it was great, when you can get Mr. Magoo on the dance floor!

My cousins turned 30 this month, and we had a smashing good time at a surprise party for them! Check out how good these two look, even at 30!

We had a blast at their party! Good food, DEFINITELY good music, and apparently bad singing and dancing (so the pictures show)! Happy Birthday Monica and April!
