Here are some pictures from our trip.
Dad playing checkers with the girls. Chicky Magoo 2 was into "kinging" everyone, even in the middle of the board. I think he had his hands full, not only teaching the game, but also figuring out what was going on with the game.
Chicky Magoo 1 went around and found walking sticks for everyone. Dad got a HUGE one that as you can see is over 6 feet tall. I guess she thinks he is really tall, or that he really needed help walking! Being the good Grandfather he played along for some of the trip, and walked down the street with his tree limb. Chicky Magoo 2 kept trying to find the smallest walking sticks.Auntie Magoo 1 has a video of her that I'm hoping to get posted to YouTube soon.
A trip to Rough River isn't complete without a game of Galaga. It was the original one that we played as kids, so only the blue color was still working on the screen!
The path leading down to the lake. This is where we skip rocks! Chicky Magoo 1 got the hang of it finally. I think she is better than I am at it. Chicky Magoo 2 wanted to be sure and "plash" everyone with big rocks. We did find out that 2 kids throwing rocks at the same time probably wasn't a great idea. A few people took rocks to the back, rear, and almost head! Yikes!
