This morning I opened up a few windows to let some fresh air in the house. One of the windows I opened was our bedroom window. While I took Chicky Magoo 1 to preschool, there was a small thunderstorm that lasted about 10-15 minutes. Now, it is sunny and is going to be about 75 degrees today. When I got back, I went into the bedroom and noticed a piece of Styrofoam in the window. I had to take a picture of this because it is so bizarre. Our bedroom is 2 floors up, and the window wasn't opened that much. Check it out!

While at my sisters the other day with my entire family we decided to listen to a new to us- XM radio station. Special X: A collection of some of the most bizarre music ever recorded. (not kidding, this is what the title said) We were having a good time, and the kids were dancing around. The adults would break it down every once in a while, with me in the lead for crazy dance moves. It became a bit of a contest, in which Uncle Magoo 2 won with the Jim Carrey dance from The Mask. There was only one song that really didn't have a tune, or rhythm for that matter. Then came the next song... It started off innocently, when the beat started. I got up and began to dance, when the melody came on, and not kidding you "I sure do like boobs a lot" became the main line. No one could turn it off because it was just so funny! We all laughed and danced through the whole song, as we realized that this phrase would be uttered in our family for years to come "Remember that time when we all danced to "Boobs A Lot". Luckily the kids had no idea what we were laughing about, but to see my entire family dance to Sure Like Boobs a Lot...well, it was just funny!
For those of you who want to hear it, I found a clip! I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter. Boobs A Lot
Does anyone else think it is INSANE that the people protesting are holding up a Mexican flag? That is pretty much saying they are wrong. Isn't it? They obviously DON'T love Mexico, since they left it for the US, for better jobs. It is just all so baffling. If the government would just put penalties and fines on companies that hire illegal immigrants I don't think there would be a problem. The jobs would go to LEGAL citizens, the illegal people would have nothing to come here for, and we would not have these problems. I'm all for immigrants, but not ILLEGAL ones! I feel awful for the people who are trying to legally get here, and have to watch as the others who have ILLEGALLY come here try to gain citizenship by protesting. It just seems we are saying "There are so many people doing this anyway, we should just legalize it." Is that really a legitimate thought? Would you think it if the crime were something different (murder, theft, abuse)? I am just in awe that this is even happening, and that people don't seem to realize the insanity of what they are saying.
People think it is wonderful that the "poor immigrants" can come into the country. They are illegal immigrants people! The US Governments DOES allow people in, and THOSE People are called immigrants! The others are called ILLEGALS!
I know I hardly ever get political on this blog, but this has just gotten crazy! The government makes people go through legal channels for our safety, not because they just love that paperwork! It is just all too insane! WAKE UP PEOPLE!

Last night we had friends in from out of town. We had just gotten back from dinner, when the severe weather sirens went off. We all started turning on tvs, computers, and of course going outside! The guys had to check out what was going on. It was a tornado warning in our county, but not right by us. There were lots of tornados popping up here and there, so- for the next hour or so we watched television to make sure the weather had passed.
Then- a man named Jeremy Brilliant came on! He was reporting LIVE from the zoo in Indianapolis, where a large pine tree had been ripped from the ground, roots and all! He reported "From my experience, I would say this was caused by strong winds..." Thanks Mr. Brilliant! What else would have knocked a 150 year old healthy tree down during a storm!

Mr. Magoo and I decided to continue our eternal quest for a clean garage. For those of you who know us well, I'm sure you are laughing at this prospect! Ok- ok- so we know it is a huge undertaking, but we have been on this project for too long, not to finish it out.
I had the task of going through the kids clothing yesterday. That sounded like a decent project, and one that given 7 hours I would be able to complete~ WRONG! I started going through them, when Mr. Magoo hinted that he would like to see a large pile of them gone! My "Mother Gene" came through, and I wanted to save all of them because my babies wore them at one point or another. Once that was over, the reality of just how many clothes we had accumulated hit me, and the chore began. Aunt Magoo came over and we started going through the clothes together. When she walked in, I think she was in shock too at what I had saved!
Needless to say here is what was accomplished:
All of the clothes are organized and labeled
We have a HUGE pile of clothes to get rid of
Chicky Magoo 2 now has a brand new wardrobe
Chicky Magoo 1 wants to wear shoes that are 3 sizes too small because "they are cute"
Mr. Magoo seems to be happy that I was able to be more realistic with what to keep
I feel exhausted, but glad to be one step closer to a clean garage

Wondering: How people collect so many things
Recent Project (other than sorting clothing!): Knitting a sweater
On My Mind: Does anyone else think they have Seasonal Affective Disorder? I could totally use one of these lights!
