Home Again, Home Again

After many trips in July, we are home again! It is amazing how off we all are on our schedules! I think it will take a few days of being tired when we get up, but hopefully, we can all adjust quickly.

The big news in our family this week is that Chicky Magoo 2 got her "big girl bed!" She was very happy about it, and talked about her Dora bed all day. The first day of trying to put her down didn't go that smoothly. She was up and down, up and down for her nap. Then at bedtime Mr. Magoo had to go it alone.Chicky Magoo 1 and I got to go to movie night at Auntie and Uncle Magoo's. When we got back he said it didn't go so well, and she was sleeping in her crib. Turns out, she wouldn't go to sleep, so he told her big girls don't get out of bed, and she was, so it was back to the crib. She was very upset about it!

The next morning, she told us that she was a big girl and wanted to sleep in the Dora bed. So- we told her she wasn't able to get up if she was going to be in the big girl bed. It WORKED! She took a nap and slept in the big girl bed last night. She didn't even get up this morning. She just called for us! Thank goodness!

Later this week, we plan on taking the crib down! Wow- all of the baby stuff is going to be out of the house!
